While working with Walworth County Public Health some COVID-19 guidance has changed. If anyone in your household is symptomatic and is seeking  COVID-19 testing, please keep your  students home from school until test results come back.

Here is information to help you decide if your student is healthy enough to come to school.

Students should stay home from school if:

They have taken any medications (for example, ibuprofen, Tylenol) to reduce fever in the last 24 hours.

They have tested positive for COVID-19 or been diagnosed with COVID-19 by a health care provider, with or without having symptoms, and have not yet finished their isolation period.

Within the last two weeks, they have come in close contact with anyone who has COVID-19.

Anyone in the household is symptomatic and seeking testing.

OR

Within the last 24 hours, they have experienced any of the following symptoms:

Cough (above their baseline)

Fever over 100.4

Shortness of Breath or Difficulty Breathing

New Loss of Taste or Smell

 OR

At least two of the following symptoms:

Chills

Muscle or Body Aches

Headache

Congestion or Runny Nose

Sore throat

Nausea or Vomiting

Fatigue

Diarrhea

We will be using these same criteria to send symptomatic students home from school.

Students may return to school when they are fever free for 24 hours without fever reducing medication and symptom free for 24 hours.

If symptoms persist contact your medical provider.
