4K students had an awesome trip to the Geneva Lakes Family YMCA during their outreach event on Wednesday! During their visit, they learned important water safety skills, practiced being safe around the pool, and had the chance to splash, swim, and build confidence in the water. It was a fun-filled afternoon full of smiles, learning, and new experiences. We are so proud of how well the students listened and participated. Way to make us #MustangProud!

BES Classrooms can earn Be Brookwood tickets when they demonstrate what it means to Be Brookwood by being kind, safe, and responsible throughout the school day. Tickets can be earned from any staff member who notices classrooms making great choices TOGETHER!
Each month, one classroom is randomly selected as the Be Brookwood Classroom Winner of the Month. The winning class earns the honor of keeping the Mustang Trophy in their classroom for the entire month as a reminder of their positive behavior, teamwork, and school pride.
Way to go -- students in Mrs. Love's class!
Keep up the amazing work, Brookwood! 💙

This weekend, our BES Kindness Squad had the opportunity to partner with the Elkhorn Area Middle School Kiwanis Builders Club to make a difference in our community. Together, they cut and tied fleece blankets that will be donated to families at Twin Oaks Homeless Shelter.
What made the experience even more special was seeing students and families from both districts working side by side, helping one another with the shared purpose of spreading kindness and supporting others.
Thank you to all the students and families who took time out of their weekend to serve our community. Each blanket will no doubt bring warmth, comfort, and a smile to a child’s face, reminding them that they are cared for and loved.
Way to go, 3rd Grade Kindness Squad! Keep making us #MustangProud! 💙

Our second graders collected supplies and used teamwork to create care bags for the Lost Sock for kindness week. Each bag was filled with essentials and a kind message from the students to help lift the spirits of those in our community. The project concluded with a group walk to the Lost Sock to hand-deliver the bags.
