Times for each grade level will vary by group. Events include snowshoeing, off trail forest exploration, and hands-on activities with animal mounts, animal track molds and more.

BES scientists wrapped up the 2023 year by learning about reindeer, caribou in the United States. They learned many interesting facts such as how they conserve heat, that a week old caribou can outrun an Olympic runner, and one of the first sculptures was of 2 reindeer swimming across a lake. A special thank you the Meier family for letting us borrow this reindeer pelt! BES scientists were amazed at how soft it felt!

WOW! Thank you to all the families and students that took part of the Winter Reading Activity!!! Prizes will be handed out this week and next! We are truly thankful for the continued support of you all!!
