We are so proud of all the students at Badger and all of their accomplishments!!! A special shout out specifically to ALL of our alumni and all they’ve done and accomplished this school year so far…committing to college, making it to conference and/or state competitions, maintaining consistent attendance, and doing their best in all that they do.
Good luck to the Badger football team as they head off to Camp Randall for state to bring home the W! 🙌🏼

Thankful for the collaboration and opportunities our students have once they get to Badger…but it all starts with us as a K-8 District. Today, our Readiness Team was able to tour Badger’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and classes with their CTE Coordinator Jake Popanda. HUGE thank you to Mr. Popanda for taking time out of his day to spend it with us!! Seeing what Badger has to offer allows us to dig deeper into what we need to showcase and prepare our students for to get them career and community ready. Digging in to have kids understand and discover their own skills and attributes allows them to see the relevance in their educational growth! Thank you to all those that made this possible and to the Readiness Team for taking this time to dig deeper into our readiness work to bring back to the whole group to work towards our next steps to continue to Grow into Greatness.

What a great day of learning for our staff!! We are thankful for our Professional Development opportunities—with the collaboration of our District leads and community professionals! Staff were able to choose from various topics today such as: digital storytelling, financial planning, stretch and mobility, classroom management & mindfulness, Barre & Pilates, chat GPT, special education, cybersecurity, AI, and sessions to continue with our Readiness work. We are grateful for all those that led sessions for our staff and thankful for the participation from our staff to continue to Grow into Greatness.
Huge thank you to Evolve Fitness Studio / Sarah Behrens for donation four sessions to our staff wellness committee to include in this professional development day that included Stretch & Mobility and Barre & Pilates!! Our staff wellness committee is thankful for your support and our staff loved the sessions you offered to them.
Thank you to Newline.Education.com for adding to our plethora of sessions today and offering sessions Digital Storytelling and Tips, Tricks, Apps, and Tools to use in our classrooms!!
Also another thank you to Kelly from WEA for coming to offer seminars to our staff that focused on Financial Security such as retirement and savings options available for our staff.

This week Kindergarteners are learning about the farm! They have been reading books and doing many fun activities learning about farms and farm animals! This week they learned about how butter was made and made some of their own! Yum! They also had the privilege of having Mr. Erickson give a presentation about his farm and animals and when he was a farmer! The kids were so engaged in his presentation!! What a fun week!
