Brookwood Elementary KHC Update! We currently have 131 students who have registered and challenged themselves to either be more kind or to move more. We have raised over $14,000 for the Kids Heart Challenge and we have had 32 families that have learned hands only CPR so far!
Our GLOW events will take place next week Monday and Tuesday during regularly scheduled P.E. classes. Students are highly encouraged to wear anything that lights up or glows, as long as they can safely move and jump!
Reminder: All students that raise over $250 will get to throw a pie at a participating staff member of their choosing! Fundraising is due by February 21st.

Happy 100th day of school, Mustangs!! Our elementary school is having a great day celebrating but we recommend to you for them to take a nice relaxing bath after school and icing those joints and backs because they maybe sore after the long day they’ve had.

Julia, a junior at Badger and a Brookwood alumni, came to the middle school art classes last week to talk about what art classes are available at the high school. Julia talked about course offerings and had a presentation with samples of her amazing artwork! She also answered any questions the students had. Hip, hip hooray for 100 days!
BES will be celebrating the 100th day of school on Thursday, February 9. To commemorate this special day, we are inviting students to dress up like they are 100 years old!
Our elementary artists wanted to remind you with all this snow around…only eat snow falling from the sky, wear warm mittens, and how to build a snowman.
BES Kid's Heart Challenge has started!! The school had so much fun kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge yesterday and today. They've traveled the globe with this year’s heart heroes, who emphasized the importance of things like helping others, drinking water, getting enough sleep and saying NO to tobacco. Professional Development for Staff
Calling all 3rd Graders!! Join in all the fun! We are so excited to be hosting 3rd Grade Heritage Day 2023. Students will be presenting their heritage day projects, as well as sharing treats from their homeland on March 17 at 2pm at BES.
BFO is calling all daddies and daughters to saddle up and get over to the dance at BES. Bring a dad, grandfather, uncle, brother, or any other special guest!
