The Genoa City Schools Families in Need Program is here to support families within our school district
who may be struggling to meet the immediate needs of their children. We are again focusing on ensuring
every child has the essential winter clothing they need to stay warm and comfortable.

If your child needs assistance this winter season, you can sign up to receive essential winter-weather
clothing such as pants, shirts, socks, mittens, and winter hats. Our goal is to make sure every child is
prepared for the colder months ahead.

You can make a meaningful difference by sponsoring a child or children through our Winter Clothing
Program. Those who can participate will sign up to purchase clothing and essential items to help keep our
students warm, comfortable, and supported throughout the winter.

Unable to Purchase Items? You Can Still Help!
If you are unable to purchase items for a child, monetary donations are welcome throughout the year.
These contributions allow our team to purchase essential clothing and other necessities for children in
need, both through this winter initiative and throughout the school year. Donations can be dropped off to
either school’s front office or mailed to Genoa City Joint 2 School District // P.O. Box 250 // Genoa City, WI

Every donation, no matter the amount or item, makes a difference and helps ensure our students have

All students aged 3 - 4 are invited to join us for a twice weekly playgroup at Brookwood Elementary. Program runs from mid-October - end of April. Space is currently available in our afternoon group which meets from 1 - 2:30pm on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Thank you to all the Brookwood families who came out to support us during our new BES costume parade tradition Mr. Ringsby tried to get started here at BES! Aside from a minor bump or two, our students and staff had a wonderful time celebrating together, and they loved seeing all of you. While we found a few areas to improve for next time, it was a fantastic first run. We truly appreciate you coming out today and showing your love and support. Each month, BES celebrates students and classrooms who go above and beyond to show what it means to Be Brookwood! Our staff members nominate students by giving out Brookwood tickets when they see them demonstrating one of our core expectations: Be Kind, Be Safe, and Be Responsible.
Each classroom has one student selected as a Be Brookwood winner of the month. Students then get to pick a meaningful prize and experience with a staff member at school.
We are so proud of these students and this class for making Brookwood a kinder, safer, and more responsible place to learn and grow.

A Wonderful Day in Nature at Seno K/RLT Conservancy!
Our 4K students and families enjoyed a wonderful day exploring nature at Seno Conservancy! 🌿🍎 It was a special opportunity to learn, discover, and make memories together while engaging all five senses.
Throughout the day, children pressed apples (and we drank apple cider too), created corn husk dolls, collected seeds, and enjoyed a story hike filled with fun and engaging stories. From discovering treasures in nature to listening, touching, smelling, seeing, and experiencing the world around us, there was so much to explore!
One of the best parts of the day was having our families join us for these hands-on adventures. Learning together, enjoying the outdoors, and connecting with nature made this trip a memorable experience for everyone.
A big thank-you to Seno Conservancy and all the families who joined us for a fun-filled day of learning, laughter, and outdoor exploration! 🍂🌻
