Thank you to EVERYONE that donated and/or adopted to our holiday Families in Need clothing boxes for students. We had SO many local communtiy groups, businesses, Brookwood families, and community members supoort this program that we were able to fulfil boxes for 68 individual children. Thank you to All World Machinery Supply for their donation of boxes, our Brookwood PTO for helping organize the boxes, Lakeland Community Church for giving us breakfast bags for every child in this program, @The Lost Sock in Genoa City for their support in our laundry assistance program, our secret wrapping elves, and EVERYONE else that adopted children and/or donated monies to our Families in Need Program. Without our community’s support — this program wouldn’t have be as successful as it was. Thank you to our local food pantry, @loaves & fishes on 715 Walworth Street / Genoa City - 262-203-0878 for supporting our families and our community with food and holiday toy support!! Thank you…thank you…thank you!!!

We’re thrilled to announce the opening of our very own Little Free Library, located right in front of Brookwood Elementary School! Thanks to a generous donation from Mercedes Benz, this library is stocked with a wonderful selection of children's books. It’s a space for everyone to take a book to enjoy and share a book to inspire others. Whether you’re looking for a new adventure, a bedtime story, or a favorite classic, our Little Free Library is here for you. Let’s build a community of readers, one book at a time! How it works: Take a Book: Find something you’d love to read. Share a Book: Donate a book you’ve loved so someone else can enjoy it. We can’t wait to see how our Brookwood families contribute to and enjoy this new addition to our community. Happy reading!

Our most recent 4K outreach event was a blast! 4K families gathered for some festive fun. They participated in fun photo opportunities, made ornaments, put together crafts and colored holiday cards. They also read books together and made fun playdough holiday creations. Afterwards, they sang their little hearts out at the holiday concert! Thank you to all the families that came out to make this event so special for some of our youngest Mustangs.
