Lake Geneva Food Services has a part time food service position serving breakfast at BES. Time times are approximately from 7:30am-9:00am. If you have questions or are interested in the position, please contact Donna Ecklund at donna.ecklund@badger.k12.wi.us

Lake Geneva Food Service is offering a meal box for any child under the age of eighteen (18) for Spring Break. Each box will consist of 5 lunches and 5 breakfasts. Box distribution will be on Thursday, March 25th from 4:00-5:00 pm at Brookwood Middle School. Interested families must complete this form by Friday, March 12th to receive their meal boxes. Brookwood Elementary KHC UPDATE! We have 79 students who have registered and taken either the challenge of being kind, choosing water, or moving more. We have raised over $8,000 already to help those with sick hearts. Way to go MUSTANGS! Our event will be held next week Tuesday March 16th and Wednesday March 17th during your student’s regularly scheduled P.E. time. Students should wear sneakers, glow gear, and be ready for FUN! All Fundraising is due by March 19th so now is a great time to do one last call for donations so you can get them in on time. Thank you to all who have joined in to make our event a huge success! Our Family Engagement Team is excited to share with our Brookwood Families and our community members a digital read aloud series where our team and staff members will be reading books aloud to you and your families while sharing effective reading strategies and activities for you to engage in at home with not only our books we are sharing with you but also your own personal books, books from our local library, our school libraries, or even books bought from the store. Yesterday was the start of Women's History Month, where we celebrate all of the important contributions women have made to history. The main entrance hallway wall at the middle school was transformed overnight into a colorful periodic table of important women! Students are encouraged to stop and take a look to see how many of these influential figures they can identify. #womenshistorymonth

Today is National Read Across America Day, and this day takes place on the birthday of one special author...any guesses? Today is Theodore Geisel’s birthday, more commonly known as Dr. Seuss!
