The kindergarten students have been practicing their writing skills by labeling their pictures and work. To kick off their farm unit, they painted paper plates to make their own 3D pumpkin and added labels to the parts of the pumpkin.

4K artists were excited to show off their Fall leaves they made in art class with Mrs. Horak.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! Our GCJ2 Families in Need program is designed to help out families in our district who are having difficulty meeting the immediate needs for their children, which include but are not limited to clothing and toiletries for the children and laundry assistance for the family. This year, we currently have 56 children enrolled in our program for our holiday bundle boxes which supply cold weather clothing for these children. Only 25 children have been "adopted".....we are in need of your support to get the rest of the 31 taken care of. Please help us help these children with some immediate needs for this winter season. You can "adopt" these children by purchasing the items for their holiday bundle box or donate monetarily to our Families in Need Program. BES After School Adventure Club has been a blast! Thank you to the teachers, students, and parents for making this such a success!!!

We love seeing all the artwork throughout our buildings at this time of year, but what becomes an annual tradition that is showcased that really “brings us back” are these beautiful clay pieces of artwork in each building…pumpkins at the elementary school and fall leaves at the middle school.

Thank you to all the families that came to the BES art room during parent/teacher conferences to enjoy the Black Light Art Show - Underwater World - put on by our students!!! They did a outstandingly glowing great job!! Our artists are already talking about what the theme can be for next year!!

Thank YOU to all the families that purchased at our onsite book fairs!! We are sad to see the onsite fairs go...but the online fair is still open for purchases until November 3rd!! 25% of ALL online sales come back as a profit for our school libraries. We are in need of your help for our elementary fair though....we are $120 short in sales for our elementary library to hit its next tier of rewards!!
