October is Bully Prevention Month - To show our commitment to teaching students the importance of kindness, acceptance and inclusion, as a way to prevent bullying, GCJ2 will be participating in Unity Day on October 18th.
On Unity day, all students and staff will be invited to wear the color orange as a way to show their commitment to kindness, acceptance and inclusion to prevent bullying.
Learning about kindness, acceptance, inclusion and bully prevention doesn’t just stop after Unity Day or when the month of October ends - Students will be learning more about diversity, acceptance, empathy, kindness and inclusion in their guidance classes.

Third grade students attended Badger High School’s Agriscience Day. They joined third grade students from all over the area to learn about what Badger offers and the importance of agriculture in our daily lives. We were so excited to see some of our former Mustangs represented in the FFA program too!! They led the tours and shared so much important information. More pictures on Facebook!

Thank you again Todd Donnelly for sharing your expertise with our elementary students today!! Make sure you ask your elementary student(s) about some of the songs they sang with Mr. Donnelly since they have been preparing for this assembly in music class with Mrs. Bullock for some time now. What a great day to be a Mustang!!

Pizza with the Principal was today for these students that were nominated by their homeroom teachers for Being Brookwood at the middle school. Way to go, Mustangs!!

The BMS cross-country team had a fantastic season! Everyone worked hard to improve their running times and cheered on their teammates. Many bonded over talking about which courses they remembered from last year and gave pointers to the new runners. Keep on running and continue to Be Brookwood!
