Although the warning has been downgraded to an advisory this morning, the power outages in the area, down trees on some roads in our district, and some icy spots make travel this morning still unsafe in our area. With that, the Genoa City Schools will be closed again on Thursday, February 23rd. Stay safe.

Due to an Ice Storm Warning impacting our area during the day and evening tomorrow, along with the hazardous driving conditions forecasted, the Genoa City Jt. 2 School District will not be having classes or after school events on Wednesday, February 22nd. Stay safe.

At last night's board meeting, four 4th graders were presented with awards for doing an outstanding job writing and publishing a book and then they each shared a chapter from their books!!

Our professional development day was filled with time for our teachers to get work done collaboratively and independently while some also had dedicated trainings to do. We were still able to come together as a district to promote wellness in various ways such as through yoga, drum-fit, Zumba, meditation, walking, and many other activities. Thanks to the staff members that led these activities. We are also thankful High Point- Lake Geneva joined in with us on our promotion of wellness with our staff by donating a plethora of teas for our staff to enjoy with their lunch!! See you all tomorrow, Mustangs. We sure missed you today.
