4K families and staff enjoyed a chilly day exploring our senses at the Seno K/RLT Conservancy. They enjoyed a senses scavenger hunt, worm exploration, and playing in the forest. We are SO excited for our Grandparents/VIP Day! If you have questions, call your child's schools front office. BES will be celebrating another fantastic year of the Kids' Heart Challenge! Students who raised over $250 will get a turn to throw a pie at a staff member of their choosing on 3/15. After the Pie Event, there will be a video shared of all of our Kids' Heart Challenge events and celebrations!

GCJ2 Spring Break: 3/25-4/1

8th grade field trip on 3/15: The Museum follows the 1st Infantry Division from World War I to the Vietnam War. The Big Red One was the first American division sent to France during World War I, and was among the very first sent to Europe in World War II and to Vietnam in 1965. Eighth grade students will get to see and walk through military events that they have been learning about, and will be learning about throughout the year in Social Studies.

Mrs. Luczkowski is joining our team as a paraprofessional at our middle school and Mrs. Jarocki is a speech pathologist that will be working with students at our elementary school. We are SO lucky to have such committed professionals continue to Grow into Greatness with our Brookwood Family.

Kindness in the classroom! Last week, during BES Kindness Week, students from 4K - 3rd grade were learning about kindness in all corners of the school - in their classrooms, in guidance class, in PE and science class. Students truly enjoyed learning about kindness in all sorts of different ways! Way to be kind, Mustangs!!

Attention! Attention! We are SO excited to be able to share new staff features with you all. Please give a warm Brookwood welcome to Ms. Stolzman and Ms. Burgeson!! They may look familiar to many of you because we were fortunate to have them both as student teachers since the beginning of the school year. Now, Ms. Stolzman is joining our team as a daily sub in both buildings and Ms. Burgeson is our long-term substitute in our elementary school's special education department. We are SO lucky to have such committed professionals continue to Grow into Greatness with our Brookwood Family.
