On Saturday, eight students competed at the Middle School Forensics Meet in Milton.
There are twelve categories to compete in. Our students were involved in the Four Minute Speech, Solo Acting, Television Broadcasting, Demonstration Speech, and Poetry.
Public speaking is a valuable skill. There are two more competitions in Middle School Forensics. Elementary Forensics will begin in February -- so stay tuned!!

Brookwood Middle School Presents: A Winter Wonderland Dance
Join us for a magical evening of fun, music, and dancing at the Winter Wonderland Dance hosted by the Student Council! Here are the details:
When: Wednesday, January 17, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Brookwood Middle School Gym
Who: Grades 6, 7, and 8 Brookwood Students only
Cost: $5 per student (pay at the door)
Dress Code: Get into the Winter Wonderland spirit! Wear cozy blues, snowy whites, or a touch of sparkle—or just come dressed for fun and dancing!
Highlights of the Night:
• DJ spinning your favorite hits
• Winter-themed decorations and photo booth
• Snacks and drinks available for purchase
Don’t miss this chance to celebrate the season with your friends! We can’t wait to see you there! Permission slips will be coming home on Wednesday, January 8th. Students need to turn in the slips by January 16th to attend the dance.


The 7th and 8th grade band students are taking a field trip to Badger HS on January 28, combining with the 8th graders from LGMS and Woods, working with Mr. Ott, the high school band director. We will also listen to and work with the BHS Wind Ensemble (the top band). This is a great opportunity for our students to learn what high school band is all about and collaborate with other student musicians in our area!


We are so #MustangProud of these 5th-8th graders that traveled to UW-Whitewater this morning to compete in the Regional Math Meet! At the meet, they were challenged with a variety of math challenges individually and as grade level teams. What a great experience for these mathematicians!! Way to go, Mustangs!!!
